Short intro
Hello my dear visitor! This is a virtual home for graphic ideas of xlsmile, aka Serge in real world. I had used xlsmile name long before I reserved it as my domain parking slot. Fallen in love with Jpanese fine art in its ukiyo-e ("pictures of floating world") incarnation I couldn't resist the temptation to invite mysteriously smiling philosopher painted by Katsushika Hokusai into my home. I guess, the philosopher might well've been Zhuangzi, a fictional contemplator and butterfly dreamer. Coincidently, butterflies have been ingrained into my virtual avatars for a long while. Well...

My Graphic Design credo is to create visually appealling, functional and light graphic solutions both for web and print environment. Websites are designed from scratch. They are hand-coded using either Coda or Dreamweaver. Then tested on 6 major web-browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, IE8, and IE7), checked against different screen resolutions, and run through W3C validation for standard compliancy.
